NEWBERRY COUNTY — The Eighth Circuit Solicitor’s Office needs volunteers for its Community Juvenile Arbitration Program to work with first-time, non-violent juvenile offenders in an effort to keep them out of the court system. LEESVILLE — Hearts full of faith were the inspiration behind a Love Walk held recently for St. Paul Lutheran Church. An outreach ministry of St. James Lutheran Church in Leesville, the walk was planned by the church’s activity committee and youth group. Saturday’s egg hunts postponed
NEWBERRY COUNTY — The Easter egg hunts for the Whitmire Jaycees and the City of Newberry were postponed Saturday due to the inclement weather. No new date has been set yet for the egg hunts. The Jaycees will reschedule their egg hunt which will be held in the Heritage Park instead of by the library due to the construction. The City’s egg hunt in Mollohon Park will also be rescheduled.
