WHITMIRE — The Town of Whitmire had two residents file for the council seat vacated by Billy Hollingsworth after he was elected mayor in November 2012. Former councilwoman Chrystal Harsha and Walter Coleman “WC” Erwin filed for the sixth seat. Friday’s free movie is ‘Three Stooges’
NEWBERRY — The City of Newberry’s free movie nights will continue Friday with a showing of “Three Stooges” at the Newberry Opera House. Showtime is 7 p.m. and seating is general admission.
