Horseshoe tournament starts in Newberry this weekend
NEWBERRY — Thirty eight players from 10 states — including South Carolina — are set to begin the Horseshoe Pitchers Pro Tour this weekend at Marion Davis Park. The 2013 SummerFun Horseshoe Tournament is Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m. and noon. PROSPERITY — The Town of Prosperity is still working on getting a couple of signs along Interstate 26 to direct traffic through Prosperity instead of Chapin to help the town prosper. Spec building financing ordinance passes final reading
NEWBERRY — Newberry County Council had third and final reading Wednesday night on the financing of the speculation building.
