Henry S. Reeder has employed his wit, experience and compassion to build a reputation admired by many.
For the past 33 years, after he received his Bachelors of Science degree from Allen University, he served as a teacher and administrator.
His unselfish service to his church, school and community has enhanced his stature as a leader and a goodwill ambassador where ever he has been privileged to serve.
Reeder currently serves as the president of the Newberry alumni chapter at Allen University and has been a member for more than 30 years. He has also served as an adjunct professor of mathematics at Allen University voluntarily for six semesters.
Reeder has served as a member of numerous civic, religious and educational boards and committees and was appointed to the S.C. Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics by former Governor Jim Hodges.
Presently, Reeder is serving as the parliamentarian and member of the board of directors of the Allen University Alumni Association.
Reeder is married to the former Betty Ruff and they are parents of four adult children.
