Alex Cole was selected as the Newberry Academy Rotary Club student of the month for January. Cole, a senior, is very active at Newberry Academy. He participates in Junior Civitan and Student Government. Cole is a member of the swim team, cross country, basketball, and baseball teams. He is an Eagle Scout and plans on attending the Citadel next fall. Cole is the son of Robert and Heidi Cole.
