The Newberry County Council on Aging, Newberry Express, was awarded the Best Fleet Safety Award by South Carolina State Fleet management Program on Sept. 25. The award was presented to a small agency, which is Newberry, with over 400,000 miles traveled with no accidents. Transportation Coordinator Stephanie Lake, second from left, accepted the award at the annual meeting on Sept. 25.
