NEWBERRY — Wayne Fulmer, 68, widower of Linda Goings Fulmer, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on May 26, 1944, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Marvin “Bunch” and Virginia Miller Fulmer. He was retired from the S.C. National Guard and from paint and body work. Mr. Fulmer loved his grandchildren and dirt track racing.

He is survived by sons, Kevin (Nicole) Fulmer of Little Mountain, Kyle (Rachel) Fulmer of Pomaria and Kory Fulmer of Newberry; sisters, Brenda Cromer and Darlene Blackmon both of Newberry; grandchildren, K.J.Fulmer, Kadyn Fulmer, Heather Nobles and Kyle Fulmer, Jr.. He was predeceased by a sister, Sherri Meetze.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6–8 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made toward the funeral expenses at 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
