A folk band, Amick’s Junction Bluegrass, plays some tunes for the Boys Farm festival held on Saturday. The festival was held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. with barbecue, kids rides and plenty of fellowship at the home that mentors young boys.
Robert Dennis volunteered his time on Saturday at the Boys Farm festival in the horse area. Dennis leads one young boy, Ripley Nelson, on a horse. This was one of the activities at the festival which is a fund raiser for Boys Farm.
Mae Reeder learns a little more about Boys Farm at their annual fall festival on Saturday. Reeder learned about the festival through Reuben Elementary and decided to come out and learn and taste some barbecue. The Boys Farm is located on Highway 121/34 and is a place for young boys to come and live and learn in structured, Christian lifestyles with houseparents. This was the eighth annual Boys Farm fall festival which was held Saturday. People could come and stay and enjoy the festivities or pick up their plate and head out. All funds raised go to help Boys Farm since they are a non-profit.

Kennedy Aldrich gets a ride on a miniature horse Saturday at the Boys Farm festival lead by volunteer Cullen Cohoon. The horse rides were one of the activities for the kids at the eighth annual festival. There were also bouncy rides, fishing and music provided by a bluegrass band.
