The Whitmire Wolverines put forth their best effort for such a young team Friday night.
However, the away game with Wagener-Salley proved another loss for the Wolverines with a score of 48-0.
Coach Don Addis admits that the team just made too many mistakes that they must work on eliminating, but all they can do is try harder week by week.
The Wagener-Salley team is very athletic, says Addis and the best they’ve played so far.
This was Whitmire’s third game of the season and also the third loss.
The Wolverines take on McCormick at home this Friday at 7:30 p.m. and this is also their homecoming.
