Lisa Ann Wessinger and Daniel Evan Williams were united in marriage on Dec. 8, 2012. The five o’clock ceremony at The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Atlanta, Ga., was officiated by the bride’s father, the Reverend Dwight C. Wessinger and the Reverend David Autry.

The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Dwight Cannon Wessinger of Irmo. She is the granddaughter of Elise Bedenbaugh Martin and the late William Woodrow Bedenbaugh Sr. of Prosperity, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl David Wessinger of Chapin. She is an honors graduate of Irmo High School and Newberry College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and communication with a minor in sports management graduating magna cum laude. She is currently employed as senior merchandise coordinator for the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta, Ga.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Marshall Williams Sr. of Rockmart, Ga. He is the grandson of Rose Butler Little and the late Howell Park Little Jr. of Rockmart, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Calvin Williams of Rockmart, Ga. He is an honors graduate of Rockmart High School and received a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Georgia. He is currently employed as a planning manager with Invista near Atlanta, Ga.

Rosmarie Meetze Wessinger, great aunt and godmother of the bride, served as an honorary grandmother. Lindsay Walker Coppney was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caroline Williams Hipps, sister of the groom; Jenna Marie Wessinger,cousin of the bride; Quiana’ Leshawn Anderson, Emily Jaqueline Boedecker, Megan Elizabeth Coghlin, Lofton Gowin DuBose, and Melissa Dawn Thomas. Honorary bridesmaids were Laura Elizabeth Bedenbaugh, Tyla Bedenbaugh Bowers , Maria Catherine Bedenbaugh and Joanna Grace Bedenbaugh, all cousins of the bride.

David Marshall Williams Sr. served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen included his brother, David Marshall Williams Jr. and his brother-in-law, Justin Charles Hipps. Also serving as groomsmen were Randall Wayne Burger, Michael Sanford Clark, Michael Blake DuBose, James Michael Gray and Matthew Graham Pearce.

Music was provided by Sarah Hawbecker, organist; Timothy Miller, soloist; Hollie Lifshey, trumpeter and Frank and Laura Thomas, violinists. Scripture was read by Libby Kibler Bedenbaugh, aunt of the bride.

A reception immediately followed at Agnes Scott College.

After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, Mr. and Mrs. Williams are making their home in Smyrna, Ga.
