The staff for U.S. Senator Jim DeMint will provide a mobile office for the Newberry area on Friday.
The meeting will be at the Hal Kohn Memorial Library Meeting Room located at 1100 Friend St., Newberry.
It will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mary Catherine Smith, constituent service representative and Jessi Knight, state projects director, will be available to Newberry area citizens seeking assistance with the grants process, Social Security disability, veterans issues and any other federal issues.
This will be the third of four mobile offices that Senator DeMint plans to bring to the Newberry area this year. The next planned visit will be Nov. 16.
