POMARIA — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Highway 773 has been ablaze since 6 a.m. Thursday, according to Sheriff Lee Foster.
Newberry County fire crews have been working on the fire since this morning at the historic church.
According to reports from WIS TV, the church is located on South Carolina Route 773 near the I-26 Interstate. Sheriff Foster says Route 773 near the church is shut down, and he expects traffic to be affected on I-26, as well.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
