Things were really cooking in Spanish class at Whitmire Community School. Spanish 3 students were working on a food unit where they are learning the Spanish words for different foods. On Nov. 30, the students actually made some Spanish dishes. The students had to bring in the ingredients, which they cut-up, combined and cooked into two dishes - O Pa Amb Tomaca - which is a tomato paste made with garlic and olive oil, and Tortilla De Patatas, which is a Spanish omelet made with potatoes and eggs. From left to right are, Caroline Raines, Brianna Lindler, Maria Dasi; standing, Rondera Lindler, standing, Talon Trotter, Devon Reid and Hydea Chick.
