The Newberry Rotary Club donated $200 for the purchase of 15 textbooks with Scar, the Helpful Wolf as part of a literacy initiative. Scar is was written by Newberry College alumni Kevin Boozer about the college’s mascot. The Rotaracts of Newberry College read portions of the book to the students at Boundary Elementary School. Roteract is the college group version of the Rotary club. Pictured are students who read Scar to the students.
