CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Former Newberry College All-American Ron Parker was activated by the Carolina Panthers to the 53-man roster for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Parker’s activation marks a return to NFL action with his third team and a chance to prove himself.
The Seahawks placed him on waivers on August 27 following training camp.
He was then added to the Panthers’ practice squad on September 2. In 2011, he appeared in three games with the Oakland Raiders and two games with Seattle.
