NEWBERRY — Wildlife enthusiasts will gather Friday at the Newberry College Gym for the annual Midstate Quail and Dove Banquet.

The door open at 6 p.m. and a prime rib dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

During the evening there will be drawings for prizes and live and silent auctions featuring hunting equipment and works of art. Hunting articles for women will also be included in the event.

The Midstate Quail and Dove club is a local organization dedicated to improving the wildlife habitat in the county and to educate and host activities for the members and local youth.

“Come join in the fun and help support local wildlife and the community,” said club president Donnie Brown.

Tickets are $45 for individuals and $60 for couples. Sponsorships are $250. Tickets can be bought by calling 276-1884.
