Margaret Riebe with the Newberry Master Gardener’s Association helps put up the bows, mums and decorations for Oktoberfest on Saturday. The German festival will take place in downtown Newberry from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and there will be vendors, entertainment, a beer garden at the Opera House and the liver nips contest among other events. The event flows along Main Street and onto Nance and Caldwell Streets.
