POMARIA — The Pomaria Community Food Bank will be open for business at noon Saturday with a grand opening to celebrate.
The food bank, started by Shelvy Ham, has grown to the new location in downtown Pomaria on Victoria Street behind Wilson’s Grocery.
Several local businesses and local volunteers have made this possible. The community is trying to help as many as we can during these trying times. The food bank serves the needs of Pomaria residents and its surrounding areas.
The hours of operation will be Thursdays and Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. beginning Saturday.
