NEWBERRY — Mr. Nicholas Elijah Gallman, 20, passed away on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.

Born in Largo, Fla., he was the son of Carolyn Boyd and George Gallman.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church where he served as president of the YPD’ers and a member of the choir. Nicholas was a 2010 graduate of Newberry High School and he attended Bethune-Cookman College. He was an employee of Wal-Mart.

Surviving are his mother, Carolyn Boyd; father, George Gallman; sisters, Brianna Gallman and TaLeah Gallman of Newberry; Shakira Wise and Latonya Wise of Prosperity; Nikea Gallman of Newberry; Tamika Glasgow of Florida; brothers, Javon Gallman and Rufus Swittenburg of Newberry; Samad Boyd of Prosperity; Preston Dewalt and Reginald Bates of Newberry; maternal grandparents, Charles and Juanita Boyd; nephew, Javien’ Wise; seven aunts, eight uncles, Godmother, Paula Wise; adopted grandmother, Anna Wise; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 3483 Chick Drive, #76, Newberry, SC.
