Members of the Newberry Business Alliances are sharing ideas that will impact the county.
The mission of the group is to work and grow economic development in the county.
As the group kicked off its new year on Monday, they heard from a number of people are are moving and shaking the county.
The group will hold its annual barbecue at Lake Murray in September.
The group is also active in working with Newberry County Council and the chamber of commerce to promote economic development in the county.
