Newberry Middle School played their first game Sept. 4 at Mid-Carolina against MCMS and Westview. Newberry Middle won games against both teams beating Westview in a decisive two matches, and Mid-Carolina in a nailbiting two out of three matches.
Newberry was back in action Sept.5, playing at Northside against MCMS and Northside Middle. Newberry Middle won a tough game against MCMS in two matches, but fell short against Northside in a close 2-0 match.
The NMS girls will be back in action this Wednesday and Thursday playing two road games at JET and Westview.
