The Newberry Community Players are back with a dysfunctional, southern comedy.
Dearly Departed is set to perform this Friday and Saturday and the last Friday and Saturday in at the Country Club of Newberry. All plays start at 6:30 p.m.
The play is a dinner theater and audience members will enjoy a four course meal for $40 and there will be a cash bar.
The community players invite everyone to spend time with the Turpin family. The writers of the play worked on the Golden Girls television show.
The community players president Ellen Hunt is excited about the play and looking forward to coming back the country club in Newberry.
The play features some of the community players as well as people from Newberry.
Many of the NCP perfomers are revising their roles from the last production which happened more than a decade ago.
