Move forward

On Tuesday morning, Nov. 6, I rose early as I always do. I prayed and asked God for guidance and instruction, as I study his word. I was led to the book of Exodus, chapter 14, verse 15. There God told Moses to tell the children of Israel to “go forward.” That was enough for me. I knew what to do and how to do it.

I too am not a political person, but I am a person with a sense of fairness and equality. I am also disappointed when people use their position to sway others to follow negative garbage.

It was made clear that the change in the tax structure would not be a burden on the small business. We as a people, should be happy that all people will be able to get medical care.

I am elated to know that we the people, elected a man who has a real plan for the future of this nation. Not one who caters to the wishes of the rich. A man who is knowledgeable, passionate and fair. One who wants what is good for all the people.

Yes, we should write to our elected officials and tell them to give up on the ideal of trying to make a failure of this administration. There are many of us who know where this kind of thinking comes from. We who have lived through it can feel it. I will not go there at this time. We must tell our elected officials to put their party to the side, along with their racism, “oops” and do the job they were sent to Washington to do.

This is not the time to further divide the people with all the lies and misinformation we have been bombarded with in recent months. The people have spoke. Fifty is still more than 48. What now? Go forward.
