PROSPERITY — Mildred Dominick Martin, 82, widow of Floyd Martin, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at her residence.

Born on Jan. 18, 1930, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the Webster and Lucille Dominick. She was a former employee of Frandenas and a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Prosperity.

She is survived by sons, Ronnie (Debra) Martin and Steve (Joyce) Martin both of Prosperity; a sister, Rebecca Alewine of Pomaria; grandchildren, Bobby Martin and Chris (Sabrina) Martin and great-grandchildren, Olivia and Barrett Martin. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Nichols and a brother, William Dominick.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church by the Rev. James Campbell and Rev. Randy Derrick. Burial will follow in Macedonia Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 2192 Bethel Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Active pallbearers will be Von Long, Jim Davis, Brantley Alewine, Charles Moore, Michael Turner and Andy Higgenbotham.
