Newberry and Mid-Carolina were both winners in volleyball on Tuesday in a three way match with Westview Middle School.
Mid-Carolina defeated Westview in three sets in the first match with scores of 25-14, 16-25 and 15-8.
In match two Newberry defeated Westview 25-6 and 25-15.
In the final heat the young Rebels defeated Newberry 25-21, 8-25 and 15-11.
In middle school volleyball action Wednesday night Mid-Carolina played at Northside in Greenwood.
In match one Northside defeated Mid-Carolina 25-11 and 25-20.
In the second match Northside won 25-22 and 25-23.
Mid-Carolina’s record is 1-3 for the season.
