PROSPERITY — The eighth grade Mid-Carolina football team defeated Edgewood Middle School 20-6 on Thursday.
Mid-Carolina’s Jevon Boyd scored two touchdowns on a six yard run and a 52 yard run. He also rushed five times for 95 yards during the game. Boyd also recorded eight tackles on defense.
John Steven Trammell also scored on a three yard run for the Rebels.
Al Moore recorded seven tackles in the game.
Rebel Iyon Thompson had six tackles, a sack for a fumble and a fumble recovery,
Boyd and Jaquez Williams also recorded a fumble a piece in the game against Edgewood.
On Thursday the Rebels will take on Saluda.
