Mid-Carolina’s football team is looking for a win as they travel to Chapman Friday night.
The Rebels have never played the school between Spartanburg and Greenville in a regular season game.
MC coach Louie Alexander says that the two teams did scrimmage some eight years ago.
Alexander says the Chapman team does have three tremendous skills people at quarterback, running back and wide out.
“They are very good offensively,” said Alexander of Chapman.
At the same time the coach says the Mid-Carolina team is getting better and working on their play.
The Rebels had a week off last week and had three good days of practice and another good days of practice on Monday, said Alexander.
He adds the team is getting refocused.
Alexander also says that his team has had tough opponents in their three losses but he hopes the hard games will make his players better in region play.
While the Rebels are doing what they can to get better they are looking for a win on Friday.
