LEXINGTON — The Mid-Carolina J.V. Softball Team played in the Carolina Invitational Tournament in Lexington last Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Rebels had a record of 4-1 and defeated White Knoll in the championship game of the tournament, which included 16 teams.
Friday night Mid-Carolina defeated Saluda 19-4, on Saturday Mid-Carolina defeated North Augusta (4A) 4-1, lost to Midland Valley (3A) 3-0, beat Union County (3A) 3-1, and then defeated White Knoll (4A) 15-7 in the championship game.
Ashlyn Courtney was the Tournament MVP, Charlsy Traylor and Tori Caldwell made the All Tournament Team.
The team has a home game on Friday against Ninety Six at 5 p.m.
