On June 25-27 following its vacation Bible school, Bush River Baptist Church took a three day mission trip to the inner parts of Atlanta, Ga..

A group of nine locals worked with an Atlanta church and mission called Seven Bridges to Recovery.

The team stayed at the church, which houses 100 women and children who are being discipled for Christ.

Additionally the mission has houses throughout the city which disciples men coming out of major life difficulties.

The team helped prepare and pack lunches, and then went out into the city to share the lunches and the gospel with men and women who lived under the bridges and in tents or on the streets.

Those in need received a sack lunch, intentional prayer, a hug, and were encouraged to turn to Jesus.

Additionally, over 100 Salvation Dolls were given to children who lived in run-down apartments.

These dolls were designed to present the gospel, and they were sewn by members of both Fairview Baptist Church and Bush River.

We thank Fairview for partnering with us in this gospel effort.
