Leslie LaCons has joined The Newberry Observer family as its newest advertising representative.
LaCons will be handling the advertising needs of the community and will be meeting many of the local business leaders and the community as she starts her new duties.
“I look forward to working with the people of Newberry,” said LaCons.
A native of Newberry, LaCons was educated in the Newberry County schools.
She attended Kenneth Shuler and got her cosmetology license.
After moving away from Newberry for a while, she returned to the town she loves.
LaCons has worked at Illusions on Main Street since 2009 and will continue to work by appointment only at the salon.
When she is not working, LaCons enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her two sons.
“There is never a dull moment at my house,” she says with a smile.
LaCons is also engaged to Jacob Andrews, who owns Memories Forever.
