Pixie and Petunia have entered the Newberry Observer’s Cutest Pet Contest but do you have a cuter pet?
Also strangely no cats, rabbits, cows, donkeys or more exotic animals have entered the race. What about those Guinea pigs, fish, chickens or other species? They all are pets so let’s see yours.
And once your pet is entered anyone with Internet access can vote for your cute pet. So gather the support of friends and family worldwide and on Facebook.
Each logged in user gets five votes a day when the voting starts on Sept. 17.
To enter the contest go to www.newberryobserver.com and then either click the rotating link in the upper right hand corner or the contest link on the top bar of the page.
Follow the instructions to log in or use the easy Facebook log in.

At the end of the voting, which runs from Sept. 17 until Sept. 30, the pet with the most votes will be named as the cutest pet in county and will take the winning donated by sponsor Chapin Pet Lodge.
Entries will be accepted through Saturday, Sept. 29. Voting will continue through Sunday, Sept. 30.
Voting begins on Sept. 17 and winners will be announced the week of Oct. 1.
