The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

Newberry Police

Tina Latasha Robinson, 28, was arrested and charged with violation of city ordinance.

Tamela Paige Cayton-Miller, 32, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

Nicolas Hernandes, 19, was arrested and charged with driving without a license.

Landon Brage Huffman, 19, possession of marijuana.

Robert Lamont Nelson, was arrested and charged with of marijuana.

Newberry County Sheriff’s Office

Faith A. Butler, 39, was arrested and charged with petit or simple larceny.

Terrance Javon James, 29, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container of beer or wine in motor vehicle.

Latoria Laquail Jones, 25, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension, failure to return driver’s license after notice of suspension, failure to maintain proof of insurance in motor vehicle and speeding.

Nikeria Antwonette Nance, 17, was arrested and charged with of marijuana.

Craig Malcolm McDaniel, 45, was arrested and charged with filing a false police report of a felony violation and presenting false claim for insurance payment, value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000.

Blanca Cervantes, 35, was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence.

Jeffrey Lamont Griffin, 35, was arrested and charged with magistrate’s court bench warrant.

Whitmire Police

Janice Lynne Simpler, 50, was arrested and charged with six counts of fraudulent check.

Dayyon Lewis Baum, 33, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension.
