The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

Jimmy Dean Hicks, 24, was arrested and charged with driving without a license, failure to maintain proof of insurance in motor vehicle and operating or permitting operation of vehicle which is not registered and licensed.

Newberry County Sheriff’s Office

Kristen Lee Sanders, 24,was arrested and charged with drinking alcoholic liquors in public.

Desmond Jerod Sheppard, 23, was arrested and charged with trespassing and giving false information to law enforcement.

Ashley Christina White, 21, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

Xavier Latron Thomas, 26, 1was arrested and charged with two counts of shoplifting.

Antwone Jerome Anderson, 32, was arrested and charged with two counts of shoplifting.

Janika Oriel-Shatrice Mendenhall, 26, was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct.
