Hunters, please be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Friday, Oct. 12, as I was babysitting my grandchild at my son’s home on the Jolleystreet Road, someone shot in the woods behind his house.
A few seconds later, the glass door on their back deck shattered.
I thank God that we were not out there because my grandchild loves to play out on that deck. I shudder to think what would have happened had she been out there or ever been near that door.
So please be sure you’re not shooting toward someone’s home when you’re out hunting.
