The Newberry County Memorial Hospital is helping to spearhead the county’s United Way campaign and as part of its efforts the hospital will have some fundraisers next week that are open to the public.
During lunch on Monday the staff will hold a bake sale.
On Tuesday during breakfast Loafin’ with Andy will be selling homemade doughnuts in the lobby. To preorder doughnuts call the hospital at 276-7570 extension 7161.
A special breakfast will be served Wednesday in the the cafeteria from 6:30 to 9 a.m.
On the menu will be breakfast casserole, a choice of plain, chocolate chip or blueberry pancakes, turkey sausage and juice or coffee. The cost of the meal is a $5.
And on Friday, Chick-Fil-A sandwiches will be available for lunch and the staff will host another bake sale.
The public is invited to join in the bake sales and meals to help raise funds for United Way. There will also be other events throughout the week for just the hospital employees.
