The Prosperity Hoppin’ beauty pageant is approaching Aug. 11.
The annual festival features a pageant before the Hoppin’ festival Aug. 17-18.
Applications are still being taken and the deadline is this Friday. The early bird deadline was just this past Monday.
The pageant will be held at the Prosperity Civic Center for babies through teens and the pageant will be divided into two age groups.
The first one is for babies to 6-year-olds and starts at 10 a.m. and the second one is for kids and teens seven and up and starts at 1 p.m.
Applications may be found on the Town of Prosperity’s website at www.prosperitysc.com; at the civic center or by calling Town Hall at 364-2622.
