May-July Events
Family Practice of Chiropractic in Chapin sponsored the May 9 Lunch ‘N Learn. We heard from Dr. R. J. Minico Jr. regarding how to best cope with stress.
Summer Media sponsored and hosted the May 15 Business After Hours in their new storefront location.
The Shoe Bar officially opened on May 25 in Downtown Newberry with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Prosperity Business Association and Wal-Mart sponsored the June 14 Mid-Year New Member Reception/Business After Hours at the Prosperity Civic Center.
Palmetto Health Hospice sponsored the June 20 Lunch ‘N Learn. Participants were informed about the state of the art technology and services available at Palmetto Heart Health Hospital and symptoms of heart attacks and strokes in males and females.
Newberry County Memorial Hospital sponsored and hosted the July 19 Business After Hours.
20th Annual Chamber Golf Tournament
The 2012 Chamber golf tournament will be held on Oct. 8 at the Country Club of Newberry.
We have set a goal of $20,000 for the 20th year. Sponsorships are now available. The official brochure will be available by the end of August. Chamber dollars help business retention and economic growth for Newberry County.
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest will be on Saturday, Oct. 6 in Downtown Newberry. The chamber is sponsoring the Liver Nips contest again this year. Spaces are limited, so contact us soon to reserve your spot.
