WHITMIRE — George Thomas Bullard of 3819 Hwy 72 N. died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at the White Oak Manor in Newberry. Born in Whitmire, Mr. Bullard was the son of the late John A. and Mary Bell Davis Bullard. He was retired from West-Point Pepperell, Whitmire Plant. Mr. Bullard was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church, was a WWII Army Veteran and operated a lawn mower shop.

Surviving are two sons, Alvin Bullard of Whitmire and Allen Bullard of Alvaton, Ky.; two daughters, Mary Beatrice Herring of Gilbert and Sherale Dianne Bundrick of Whitmire, and two sisters, Velma Hester of Alabama and Faye Hanna of Clinton. Surviving also are eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Bullard was predeceased by one son, Mike Bullard of Whitmire, and a sister, Maggie Milstead of Rock Hill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Whitmire.

Services will be conducted on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Heritage Wesleyan Church with Rev. Mark Stevenson officiating. Burial will take place in Whitmire Cemetery.
