To the Editor,
I wonder if the scores of people who parked in the Historic Rosemont Cemetery during the Newberry College football game this past Saturday pay the annual or perpetual care fees that survivors of those buried there do?
Both of my maternal grandparents were educated at Newberry College and both are buried in Rosemont.
I doubt they thought their grave sites would be used for football game parking. Perhaps the Rosemont Cemetery Association, the Newberry Police Department and the College could use temporary blockades across the access roads for the next college game.
