The Fort Jackson S.C. Military Museum won second place in the Downtown Merchants Christmas window contest. Their theme was Happy Holidays the Army Way. All of their contest winnings will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project. They will win $200.
Flying Pie won honorable mention with their window theme of Reindeer Revolt. The window was painted by one of the Flying Pie's waitresses.
Hair 'n Things won third place with their window theme of Fairy Tale Christmas Soldier. They will win $100.
Summer Media snagged the top prize as the winner of the downtown merchants Christmas window decorating contest. Their theme was Winter Forest and they will win $300.
NEWBERRY — Downtown merchants along Newberry showcased Christmas in their windows. The winners are:
First place - Summer Media
Second place - Fort Jackson S.C. Military Museum
Third place - Hair ‘n Things
They will receive money gifts from Joe Trainor and there were 14 participants in all.
