The City of Newberry and Newberry College will host a welcome back party for the students and community Saturday.
The event will kick off at 6 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m. at Memorial Park in downtown.
The entire community is invited to the event and there will be limited food for sale.
Also some local merchants will set up displays.
A deejay will also be entertaining and the college will have special activities for Newberry College students only.
The event will be a time for the college students, staff and community to mingle and have a good time together while getting to know each other.
While many some students like athletes and those living in the Oakland Mill apartments have moved back to campus, Saturday is the main day for students to move back to Newberry.
Expect Evan Street and streets around the college to be congested with students moving in.
