Newberry College and the City of Newberry are throwing a back to school bash for students and the community Saturday.
The welcome back block party kicks off at 6 p.m. and will party on until 9 p.m. in Memorial Park in downtown Newberry. In case of inclement weather, the party will carry on at Eleazer Arena at Newberry College.
This is the second year for the block party and way for students to meet the community.
Vendors and a deejay will be at the party and there will be some food for sale.
