Mr. and Mrs. Marion P. Bolick of Blair are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Mason Bolick to Matthew Ryan Kinard, both of Varnville. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Clay Kinard of Varnville.
Heather is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Spratt Clowney Jr. of Blair and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam P. Bolick (Sara) of Blair. She is a graduate of Newberry Academy and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management from the University of South Carolina, Beaufort.
Matthew is the grandson of Mrs. Ann Graef and the late Leo Graef of Varnville and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Blocker of Candler, N.C. and Mrs. Lucille Kinard and the late Will Kinard of Brunson. He is the great-grandson of Mrs. Helen Simmons and the late Tracy Simmons of Varnville. He is a graduate of Wade Hampton High School and attended Anderson University. He is currently employed by The Greenery, Inc. in Bluffton.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 1, 2012, at the historical Feasterville Boarding House in Blair.
