The Newberry Disabilities and Special Needs Board and Ruth S. Pugh Foundation honored Terry Benton on Saturday as the recipient for the 2012 Employee of the Year. Benton serves as the Day Program Supervisor at Newberry Industries/Newberry Industries Annex, and serves individuals with disabilities and special needs in Newberry County. Benton receives her award from Harold Folk, chairperson of the Ruth S. Pugh Foundation.
