The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break in a the Newberry County Animal Shelter.
When animal shelter workers went to the shelter on Friday they found it had been broken into.
Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster says the only item that was missing was a money box.
Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call 321-2222.
The case is still under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
