What a delightful exhibit of Christmas of the 1800’s depicting activities and commerce of many Newberry County communities. The Saturday, December 5 Festival of Trees held at the Newberry County Museum (formally the Newberry County Library) additionally offered artists’ and craft displays from quilting to pottery; from weaving wool to cotton thread tating; from typical table settings to pilgrim and antique doll collections.
Many thanks to all of the people who made this event possible. Surely this offering was indicative of future things to come at such a suitable location for our new museum.
