I am getting old. My hearing is poor but my eyesight is keen. Our secondary roads are littered, especially close to recycle centers. And what makes the litter problem worse is that when the grass is being cut on the road shoulders, the driver of the machine just cuts up the trash, beer and drink cans, glass bottles etc.

This really makes the problem much worse for the beauty of our county and state. We pay taxes to support highway maintenance. We pay taxes to keep prisoners warm in winter and cool in summer.

We need to use these prisoners in front of grass cutting machines to collect all the trash before cutting up the trash and making an eye sore and causing road hazards. I hope that our local and state politicians can work on this problem.
