INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Former Newberry College wide receiver Corey Washington proved to be the New York Giants’ hero late in the game again when he caught his third straight game-winning touchdown in the Giants’ 27-26 win over Indianapolis on Saturday night.
He has also caught a 73-yarder against Buffalo and a 3-yarder against Pittsburgh.
In the three games so far, Washington has caught seven passes for 116 yards, including three catches for 20 yards against the Colts. He also drew a pass interference call which set up the touchdown play.
