MCMS takes on NMS in volleyball

PROSPERITY — The Mid-Carolina Middle School Lady Rebels volleyball team had two successful matches Monday against Newberry Middle School at home.

In the first match, the Lady Rebels won the first game 25-10 and won the second game 25-17. In the second match, the Rebels won the first game 27-25 and won the second game 25-14.

Many of the players contributed to the scores of both matches. Emma Fellers had a total of seven serves for points, four of which were aces.

Chloe Epting had a total of six serves for points, including one ace. With three serves for aces, Ivey Horne had a total of eight serves for points. Madison Hyman had 12 total serves for points, including three aces for the Rebels.

The wins take Mid-Carolina Middle School’s record to 5-1 on the season.
