The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
— Andrea Mathis, 45, of 1102 Lakeview Road, was charged March 12 with reckless driving on Biesel Road near Porsche Drive.
— Crystal Goins Brock, 37, of 1076 SC 19, was ticketed March 13 for animals running at large after three pit bulls attacked a neighbor’s dog, biting it several times. Animal control was notified about the pit bulls.
— Brandon Tayor Dunton, 22, of 235 Mill Street in Little Mountain, and Matthew A. Dauksza of Congers, N.Y., were charged March 14 with drag racing near Boyd Crossing on C.R. Koon Highway. According to the incident report the responding deputy observed two trucks, one driven by Dunton and the other by Dauksza, driving side by side at 85 mph. The deputy reported that Dunton and Dauksza admitted to racing.
— Joshua Kevin Finlay, 36, of 2053 Stoney Battery Road in Newberry, was charged March 16 with trespassing. Also charged with trespassing was Robert Chandler Glenn, 18, of 3060 Dennis Dairy Road in Newberry. According to the incident report the complainant spotted the vehicle Finlay and Glenn were traveling in parked on his property. Finlay and Glenn were transported to the Newberry County Detention Center and issued tickets for trespassing.
